This wonderful whimsical tea pot is from Lisgard in England. They created a line of novelty teapots collected the world over.
This is a wonderful example of their hand painted pots featuring the Iconic Humpty Dumpty.
It is Glazed in Gorgeous Kelly Green and Humpty sits atop a Brick Wall. A number of the "bricks" are Gilded. Check out his Golden Shoes.
It was made by the "Lingard" company in England, it is part of a tea service series that featured classic nursery rhymes
