This Vintage Glo-Hill Chrome and Bakelite Server with Burnt Cherry Bakelite handles and Legs is so Special it will elevate your table Setting to new Mid Century Modern Heights.
The serving dish is approx. 12 1/2" long by 6 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" high. The bakelite is in excellent condition and the chrome Platter is bright and shiny.
Some History: In 1946, Sol Globus officially registered his business, The Glo-Hill Corporation, in Montreal. Sol, his two brothers (Paul and Leo Globus), and his Brother-in-Law (Harry Hill) sensed the change that was on its way and took advantage of it. Together, the Globus Brothers and Harry Hill became 'Glo-Hill'.
This Beauty will work for appetizers, nuts, Candy, Fruit and anything that you want to present on your coffee table or Dining Table.
