This is an Expressive stretched Green art glass credenza bowl with emerald green interior and weighted clear glass base, expertly hand crafted by Chalet Glass, Canada circa 1960, in superb vintage condition.

The Chalet Glass factory was founded in 1960 and eventually relocated from Montreal Quebec to Cornwall, Ontario. Chalet glass compositions are distinctive and easily recognized because of the modern hand crafted shapes, smooth fluid lines and vibrant colors. The art glass pioneered by Chalet glass was developed in the 1960's by master glass makers immigrating from Murano, Italy to find work in Canada. The expressive stretched shapes and inventive designs they created became the hallmark of the Factory lasting for over two decades.
