This is a beautiful piece in a Butterscotch Drip Glaze and Ceramic Body in Lotus Blossom form starting at the top in golden yellow and transitioning into caramel and then brown.
Used as a trinket dish or a planter this ceramic 6" Diameter 4" High has a glossy richly saturated patina. The mouth is 3 3/4" wide.
Marked BMP Canada, Blue Mountain Pottery, the rim is beautifully scalloped to reference the lotus flower identifying this, charmingly, as the lotus bowl.
