3 Place Settings of this Glorious Set of Bowls and Under Plates from Norway.
Wonderful whimsical designs: Bowls shows Fish Monger. Under Plate shows 3 Women with their Baskets full of Fish and Flowers buying Pretzels and Eggs. These are fantastic in how detailed they are and how Fun! , by Turi Gramstad Oliver. Each is marked "turi-design Market Made in FF Norway.
Turid "Turi" Oliver was born in Sandbes Norway in January 1938. She studied at The Norwegian College of Applied Arts in Oslo from 1955 to 1958. Whilst studying she worked in the workshop of Kari Nyquist . She Began her work at Figgjo in 1960 and during the next twenty years of her time there she created several designs including the delightful Figgjo Lotte series, the Figgjo Market range, Tor Viking and many other figurative and floral designs.
This set includes 3 Bowls and 3 Under Plates
Bowls measure 6 3/4" D and Under Plate is 7" D
This is the best of Scandinavian Design.
Excellent Condition. No Chips Cracks or Crazing . One Bowl is a little Faded.
