This is an absolutely Gorgeous Ceramic Vase that almost appears to be Glass because of the High Shine of the Clear Glaze.
What I first thought were hand-painted flowers are clearly paper cutouts of what appear to be Camellia Sinensis a kind of plant whose leaves and leaf buds can be used to make tea. This flower is a symbol of beautiful women so Chinese often send it as a gift to their partners.
Camellia is native to east Yangtze River Basin, Pearl River Basin and Yunnan Province.
The Florals are Orange with Gold Leaves and Branches.
On the rear is Asian Script.
Measurements: Circumference of this vase is 31" Diameter is aprox. 11" Height is: aprox 12.5" Mouth opening is narrow at 2"
This vase is very heavy at about 10lbs which influences the shipping fees.
It is however stunning and would work as either a Table Vase for an entry area or a floor vase.
