The piece has beautiful detail with cherry bakelite handles and Legs.

The chrome serving shell holds a nice deep well for easy tabletop or coffee table serving.

This beautiful mid century piece was designed and manufactured in Canada.

Excellent condition with very minor marking, virtually no scratches on the chrome.

Glo-Hill was a Canadian company established by Jack Globus and Harry Hill in 1945 in Montreal. By the early 1950s, their iconic Chrome Holloware hostess serving pieces had become a standard fixture at cocktail parties and bridge nights. This high quality chrome and Bakelite Holloware has stood the test of time, and today remains a symbol of a time when fashionable kitchenware was everywhere.
